The Zoom A1 FOUR is the first Multi-Effects Processor designed for a variety of acoustic string and wind instruments.
Zoom’s acclaimed FX processing technology of now-popular G1 / B1 FOUR series will provide the engine of new A1 FOUR series of compact Multi-Effects Processors, now fully dedicated to rendering the sonic response of a widest variety of Acoustic Instruments, from Ac. Guitars to Saxophones, Trumpets, Violins and even the Blues Harp.
Remodeling of ever-popular acoustic guitar’s body and shape, such as dreadnought, jumbo and more (as introduced on Zoom AC-2 / AC-3 pedals) are now accessible in the A1 FOUR series and easier to select and quickly edit.
In addition, classic FX such as Chorus, Delay, Reverb, and even Wah, are now re-voiced in the A1 FOUR series to fit the distinctive sound character of specific acoustic instruments, when captured by a microphone for live or recording.
the Zoom MAA-1 Mic Amp Adapter is included in the box of the A1 FOUR series for easy connection of both Dynamic and Condenser (Phantom power is provided by MAA-1) type of microphones to the pedal’s mono input standard jack.
Drum patterns are also re-arranged with percussion sounds such as Cajon and Congas to give more of an acoustic feel to the Rhythm section.
Together with the onboard Looper the A1 FOUR series allows for play-along and dynamic arrangements tailored to unplugged-style of music.
The A1 FOUR series is also compatible with Zoom Guitar Lab software for patch and FX editing on Mac / Windows PC.
